Communique of solidarity with the workers of SIMON.
Barcelona's local committee PCPC The Communist Party People's Catalonia expresses total opposition to the ERE fraudulent SIMON that the company wants to implement factory Sancho de Avila in Barcelona. We sympathize, first, with 80 workers affected, and with all staff, who also are victims of practices caciquils mafia and the family that owns this multinational.
We denounce that is a fraudulent ERE that company profits exceeding 100 million euros, and hide behind the spectre of the crisis, alleging a decline in demand, while profit espectatives grow. It is fraudulent, why entrepreneurs while bringing the plant to stop nearly a year, has shown that the assembly tasks have been diverted to external workshops.
The only company that has shown is a willingness to close a profitable plant, a power policy externalitzación and relocation. SIMON prefers to manufacture in countries with labor laws spraying the esclavitut and sub contracts with local cheap labour.
The PCPC sympathizes with workers in struggle SIMON and demands the immediate withdrawal of ERE.
